J.W.`s and Paradise and the Reality of it.

when god created adam and eve and put them in the garden of eden it was then up to them to cultivate and take care of it ,god had no further hand in it .the responsibility rested with adam/eve and their offspring.. the same would be true in the paradise to come ,god gets rid of all of us wicked people ,but then it is up to j.w.~s who are left on this earth to restore such a paradise.?

without god`s intervention.. think of it , this system is gone with all its infrastructure.. 8 million + j.w.`s scattered throughout the earth with.

no communication systems operating .

JDubs can not wrap their brain around what it will be like when everything is shut down with no power, running water, or refrigeration for food. Just clearing the land of decaying bodies and rubble will take hundreds of years.

Most JDubs will say that they don't worry about it because he will just wave his magic wand paradise will be here.

We went to an outside wedding two weeks ago and my wife complained about the heat and humidity. I told just wait until after Armageddon when you won't have power or air conditioning or even a running fan. She looked a little worried.

Why aren't the JDubs receiving more bad publicity concerning the abuse cover-ups?

i know that the jdubs think that they are the center of the universe and in actuality, no one except ex-jdubs gives a rats ass about these religious crazies.

my question is i read that as a percentage of pedophiles per members, that the percentage is larger in the watchtower company than in the catholic church.

i would think that would catch someones attention in the media and make a good story.. what really pisses me off is the watchtower cult is gloating about all of the negative press the catholics are receiving concerning pedophiles not even knowing that the jdubs have thousands of sexual abuse cases that have been covered over.

What really pisses me off is the Watchtower Cult is gloating about all of the negative press the Catholics are receiving concerning pedophiles not even knowing that the JDubs have thousands of sexual abuse cases that have been covered over. If there were two articles about sexual abuse in the same paper concerning pedophiles in the Catholic Church and in the Watchtower Company, the JDubs would believe the information about the Catholics and say the information about the JDubs is false propaganda put out by Satan and his demunz.

It is almost like the 8 Popes are Teflon coated.

Some thoughts on the message of doom

one of the recent threads on the talk about the hailstone message got me to thinking.

the problem with putting out a message like that is what to do when nothing happens.

i have to think that somebody will be asking that question.

The Borg said the same thing back in the early 70's. The JDubs have the most depressing religion on the earth. The Borg scares both the shit and the money out of the JDubs who are now grasping for straws hoping and praying that something terrible happens so they can say, "See, we told you so."

It is just like one big broken record. They have the memory of an ant. They forget that originally 1914 was supposed to be the end and then when nothing happened 1914 was changed to the beginning of the time of the end.

my father would have started college 49 years ago this week.

about three months earlier, the week he graduated high school, the awake!

magazine came out with some very clear direction to teenagers.

well, the 8-year-old daughter actually brought a blue smurf doll to the public talk and watchtower study.

When I was a young elder I studied with a younger married couple. We talked about how Satan and his demons don't want them to study and learn about Jehovah. The couple lived in a mobile home and at night they heard creaking noises and thought the demons were after them.

They told me about the noises. I assumed that they bought something from a store that sells used items which can serve as a bridge for the demons to the persons home. Nope....but I did find ceramic praying hands that belonged to a grandmother. Aha, that was the culprit. I took the praying hands outside the trailer and smashed them with a hammer.

The creaking noise did not go away, now something that belonged to a grandmother was destroyed and they stopped studying a few weeks later.

I guess at that point in time I would have believed the smurf story if a CO gave the story.

Many may feel that they are harmless movies and are just entertainment. Well, the 8-year-old daughter actually brought a blue smurf doll to the Public talk and Watchtower Study. When the name Jehovah was mentioned by the brother giving the talk the smurf doll jumped to the floor and ran to the back of the hall."

How many JDubs would actually believe that happened? I would have to say that since it was stated by a CO or GB Pope that 50% to 60% would actually believe that it happened.

i was in disbelieve on just how silly everything looks with the watchtower reader reading from his little iphone and the watchtower conductor holding up his iphone to ask the questions.

then the conductor asked the reader to read a bible verse and of course, he reads from his little phone.

It just doesn't feel like you are holding the Word of God when you looking at your smart phone especially when a few minutes before there may have been some porn on the screen.

For shits and grins, I looked at an online Sunday meeting a few days ago on YouTube. I was in disbelieve on just how silly everything looks with the Watchtower reader reading from his little iPhone and the Watchtower conductor holding up his iPhone to ask the questions. Then the conductor asked the reader to read a Bible verse and of course, he reads from his little phone. I think that the iPhone use says, "look at me, I am too cool for a big iPad."

I guess that I am old fashion and I would miss actually holding a Bible and turning the pages to the verse. I remember how when a Bible verse was turned to there would be the sound in the Kingdumb Haul of paper pages being flipped through as 60 people thumbed through their Bibles. That sound will soon be gone. Do they still say "Let's turn in our Bibles to....?

It just looks all too silly for me. A Bible study without a Bible.

Why are they announcing 2019 conventions so early?

i was just told there will be international conventions in canada in 2019. .

so i looked at jw.org and i see that there's a whole bunch of conventions now listed on the site for 2019.. isn't this odd?

normally we were told the location of conventions during the first week of january.. did they realize there was less in attendance in the 2018 conventions, and want to give ppl more time to make travel arrangements??

My wife was discouraged when they announced the Memorial date for the next three years. She said, "Well, I guess Armageddon is coming in the next three years." I am sure that she was not the only JDubby to think that.
